Requirements for custom cutting services:
We can mill parts from your drawing files if they are provided in an AutoCAD readable format like .dwg and .dxf files. The drawing must be layered with contour definitions for each layer, i.e. outside contour, inside contour, middle of line and cutting depth.
Example: The wall of a building is cut with "outside contour" and the window openings are cut with "inside contour" because the mill leaves a trace of removed material, just like a saw blade does when you cut a piece of wood.
We can mill in 0.02", 0.04", 0.06" and 0.08" white styrene, 0.04" black styrene and 0.03" & 0.06" clear acrylic. Smallest mill diameter is 0.01" (for thin styrene).
We do not have the capacity (or time) to offer custom development of projects because it is very time consuming. See also the section on "Developing a kit".
